Well before reblogging this I SHOULD note that we don’t actually know the gender of the asshole that said that so please no “lol stupid geek dudes” replies because sadly there are women out there that think they’re the only “real” geek girls. That being said this whole business of calling people, especially ladies (since it happens a lot more to them), “fake” geek girls needs to fucking stop. People that do that are worse than fucking hipsters. Even if she wasn’t actually cosplaying an actual fucking character you’re still wrong to be a jackass about it.
Appreciate the effort she put into making that fucking costume, don’t criticize who she’s playing as and why she’s dressed up in the first place.
